The Owner

Donna Martin, Owner

Donna is a long time resident of Mount Dora, a mother of two incredible young men, and a spouse of a US Army veteran of 31 years. She graduated from Warner University with a bachelors degree in Organizational Management, and was trained through Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business with a master certificate in Leading Nonprofit Boards. Besides running her own business, she is also manager and co-owner of Present Day Electrical Services & Consulting. Through education and past experience, she has a clear understanding of the challenges faced by small businesses and nonprofits with limited personnel and resources.

Why are we called Swan Trail?

When I first saw a swan, I realized that their whole structure is made for flight, with wide wing spans and graceful movements. One of the largest of all birds, yet they glide through the water, seemingly without effort and leave little to no wake. They can go anywhere, take over a territory with their tenacious temperaments and yet these majestic birds choose to nest in the same areas every year, only relocating to avoid the cold. The beautiful swan has reasons for consistent and habitual behavior, but imagine if we saw them everywhere, flying and blazing beautiful trails through the water.

In business, we need to been seen, to fly, make lots of changes, and we certainly want to leave a trail. A little help on small projects, organizational assistance, and efficiency recommendations can make a huge impact on your organization.
